Sheridan is a Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapist Association certified Counsellor. She uses an integrative approach that is person-centered, trauma informed and tailored to each client’s needs and circumstances. Some of the modalities she incorporates into her practice include Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness based techniques, DBT informed techniques, CBT and Solution Focused Therapy. She is currently working towards her EMDR certification. Sheridan offers a supportive and highly caring space where clients  feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings while they develop helpful skills and strategies to live more empowered, joy-filled and fulfilling lives.Sheridan is a proud mother of three children, one young adult and two teens, who understands the joys and challenges of parenting. She has a passion for personal and professional lifelong learning and growth. She enjoys, staying active, yoga, gardening, preparing nutritious meals, quality time with family and friends, travel, and precious time at the lake. She has also worked in the education system with children and teens for almost 30 years.
